The Charleston Home's "Charleston in the Fall" Travel Guide
Are you traveling to Charleston in the Fall? Or maybe you’re moving here or new here.
No idea where to start in finding all the fun, unique, authentic and not touristy things to do in Charleston this Fall?
I’ve got you covered with my Charleston in the Fall travel guide!
Born out of my love for Charleston, I opened an online Charleston travel guide shop where I share carefully and expertly curated guides available for a steal of a deal price of $9.99. After moving here over 10 years ago, and serving clients moving here for the past 6 years, I am constantly asked for all the best restaurants and fun things to do. I created a general Charleston Guide for them — which you can access, too, here — but I know people visit for all different reasons and seasons so my guide shop has curated guides specific to almost any kind of visit to Charleston.
Whenever I travel and start searching all the things to do, see, and places to eat, I am admittedly paranoid about landing on the touristy spots because it’s what pops up on the first page of Google. When I travel, I want to experience the city like a local. So when I created this guide, I purposely do not include any tourist traps! Sure, I may include some popular experiences, but only because I believe they are definitely worth your time or money.
All bars, restaurants, events and activities are clickable in this downloadable guide. This makes accessing a restaurant’s menu so quick and easy— no searching for a good restaurant and then fumbling through each one’s website to find their menu. I also provide an average plate price key, and I label where in the Charleston area the restaurant is located. I make it easy easy easy for you!
The autumn season in Charleston is my personal favorite. The humidity has just about dissipated but it’s still warm through mid-October. Folks are getting outside and doing all the things we couldn’t do (without sweating profusely) during the steamy Lowcountry summer.
Therefore, my “Charleston in the Fall” travel guide focuses on getting outdoors.
In this guide you’ll find 16 pages filled with:
Coffee shops and restaurants with outdoor seating to enjoy this perfect fall weather in Charleston (they all also have indoor space)
Each bar and restaurant is labeled with a price key and brief description
The best rooftop bars
Fall and Halloween event calendar September- November
Fun things to do in Charleston in the Fall months - some Halloween themed, some not
A map and downtown walking route to sightsee with a coffee shop stop, a lunch spot, and where to park.
A master map labeling everything featured in the guide so you can plan your days
You will love this guide whether you live in Charleston, recently moved to Charleston, or are visiting Charleston soon. Experience Charleston like a local with my “Charleston in the Fall” travel guide, or visit my guide shop to browse my other curated Charleston guides.
